I took this picture of the capitol building as KDub went running by, oblivious to her. Ansel Adams I am not. But it was a great race day for her, as I slept off a hang over in the car. It reminds me of a story my brother told me, i think it was about Chaco Canyon. A photographer from the USGS or some other society had set up a camera and was waiting for this huge piece of rock to fall off a cliff that would certainly crush the ruin below. The guy went for a piss or something, the rock fell and he missed the money shot. Only to get a photograph of a huge dust cloud.
I got a new (used) camera and am enjoying trying to take more than quick snaps. Its been a long weekend and have got some business lined up this week. More work to come on building the shed as soon as it gets a little warmer. Mindy has a Four Hands sale coming up this weekend and then off on work trip and to visit her mom in snowy Amarillo next week.
I better get hold of the Netflix queue...
